This single malt whist is from Miyagi, Japan, and also shares the name with the distillery. Miyagikyo used to make a variety of age-statement whiskies, however most have been discontinued and there is a limited amount of releases left. This whiskey is known for its light, fruity and elegant profile. Miyagikyo has a touch of peated malt. It has a similar style to old-school malt scotch whiskies. Label design for the world's first awamori Frozen brown sugar liqueur by the highly awarded bartender Shingo Gokan, head of SG Group. Distilled by the Mizuho Shuzo Brewery that has been in operation since 1848, the richly flavored liqueur has developed to mark the first year anniversary of Gokhan's bar, El Lequio. The bar celebrates the relationship between Japanese and Latin American cultures. The label merges the two cultures with the warm palette, gold accents, and glitter like the beaches on each shore and a green blue band connecting the two continents by water. IMO SG Shochu Basket

Kyushu, the motherland of Shochu is comparable in size to Scotland but with a higher concentration of distilleries. This is where you will find all three producers that bring the SG Shochu to life. Each distillery is located in a different prefecture within Kyushu, each known for a distinctive style and history of Shochu making. The essence of sweet potatoes Shochu lies in the freshness of the base ingredient. The SG Shochu IMO uses locally grown sweet potatoes which are transported to the distillery immediately upon harvest. Unlike dried grains, each hour post-harvest impacts the freshness and vibrancy of flavor in the final product. IMO takes pride in the tight-knit community of local farmers that make such production possible. IMO's tropical inclination owes to the geography and climate of Kagoshima- the home of Shochu in Japan's great southern prefecture. This gives IMO a sensibility akin to spirits Produced and similar latitudes such as rum, tequila, pisco, and cachaÃ§a, playing incredibly well with tropical fruits and spices. IMO's versatility extends to the temperature at which it can be enjoyed. It can be used as a base in an ice cold riff on a daiquiri or find its way into a hot toddy with a touch of maple syrup and lemon juice. The SG Shochu IMO also possesses uncanny potential when paired with desserts. This basket also includes Sprouts trail mix and coffee.
